  When you install Oracle, probably because we assign the swap is not enough space causes the installation to fail. Processing steps are as follows:

SWAP space for 2G

Create a temporary swap file by the dd command, the size of 1Gb

2. The temporary swap mkswap command to format files created in Step 1

3. swapon command to make the swap file to take effect, as follows:

4. Add the swap by the free command or grep swap / proc / meminfo inspection results, as follows:

5. If you need permanent, then you need to add new files written to the swap device fstab file, it will automatically take effect each time the server is restarted

6. In the temporary device above Close SWAP
