Google has not yet released its drive for access to the official Linux client from Ubuntu. However, the open source community has been the unofficial completion of the development package 'grive-tools'.
grive but Google Drive (online storage) of GNU / Linux system client that allows you to synchronize the selected directory to the cloud, and upload new files to Google Drive.
grive-tools installation steps
Step: 1 Use the following command to add grive-tools PPA:
# Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: thefanclub / grive-tools
Step: 2 Update List
#sudo apt-get update
Step: 3 Install grive-tools
# Sudo apt-get install grive-tools
To access the Google Drive
Step: 1 installation finished by entering Grive in Unity Dash search application, and open it.
Step: 2 Sign google drive, you will be asked for access to google drive.
Click Next when, speaking in a new browser opens Google login page
Sign in to your Google account and click Accept
Step: 3 The following will give you a google code, copy and paste the Grive settings box.
After clicking Next, you will start syncing google drive to 'Google Drive' file in your home directory folder.
Google Drive folder will be created in the user's home directory. |
