  Java 8 official version has been released (details), but the most commonly used Java development tools Eclipse has not officially released on the Java 8 support. However, it is currently possible to support Java 8 by updating the JDT. Proceed as follows:

Menu: Help> Install New Software ...
Enter the following URL address:
Http://build.eclipse.org/eclipse/builds/4P/siteDir/updates/4.3-P-builds
Press the Enter key
Select the category 'Eclipse Java 8 Support (BETA)'
For faster installation, please do not select 'Contact all updates sites during install to find required software'
Click 'Next'
Click 'Next'
Accept the agreement
Click 'Finish'
