  I successfully created under Ubuntu 15.04 in a wireless hotspot AP with Gnome Network Manager. Next, I want to share my steps. Note: You must have used to create a wireless network adapter AP hotspot. If you do not know how to confirm it, then the terminal (Terminal) Type iw list.

If you do not install iw, then you can use in Ubuntu sudo apt-get install iw installation.

After you type iw list, view the "Supported Interface Mode", you should see something like the following entry to see the AP:

Supportedinterface modes:
* Managed
* AP
* Monitor
* Mesh point
Let's look at a step by step:

1. Disconnect WIFI connection. Use a wired network access to your notebook.

2, the top bar panel click Network icon -> Edit Connections (Edit Connection) -> in the pop-up window click Add (Add) button.

3. Select Wi-Fi in the drop-down menu.

4, followed by:

a, enter a name such as link: Hotspot 1

b, for example, enter a SSID: Hotspot 1

c, select the mode (mode): Infrastructure (Infrastructure)

d, device MAC address: Select your wireless device in the drop-down menu

5, enter the Wi-Fi Security tab, select WPA & WPA2 Personal and password.

6, enter the IPv4 Settings tab in Method (method) drop-down menu, select Shared to other computers (shared to other computers).

7, enter the IPv6 tab, set to ignore ignore in Method (method) in (only in case you do not use IPv6)

 8, click Save (Save) button to save the configuration.

 9, open Terminal from the menu / dash inside.

 10, modify the network settings using the connection you just created.

The use of VIM editor:

sudovim / etc / NetworkManager / system-connections / Hotspot
Or use Gedit editor:

gksu gedit / etc / NetworkManager / system-connections / Hotspot
Replace the name with your Hotspot connection name in step 4 from the inside out.

a, change the mode = infrastructure mode = ap and save the file.

b, once you save the file, you should be able to see you just created AP Wifi in the menu. (If not, please Zaiding bar close / open Wifi option once)

11, you can now put your Wifi device connected. Android 5.0 has been tested millet 4. (Download 1GB file to test the speed and stability)
