Linus Torvalds Linux kernel has been upgraded to Kernel 4.0.2, a new kernel patches and updates Bluetooth, USB, SCSI, ACPI drivers, improve NFS and EXT4, improve ARM64 and PowerPC architecture.
In addition to updated drivers, enhanced support for new devices and file systems, it also brings a long-awaited Life Patching feature that allows users to update the kernel without rebooting the system. For the average user this is not important, this feature is very useful for Linux servers.
CentOS 7 installed on command, in turn enter the following command to install:
