  Atom was developed by the GitHub open source, cross-platform text editor with a simple and intuitive graphical user interface and a bunch of interesting text editing features, support: CSS, HTML, JavaScript and other Web programming languages. Which also supports macros, auto-complete function to display information, and integrated with the file manager.

The latest version is available Atom 0.124.0, it has been released for some time, with important changes.

git clone https://github.com/atom/atom
cd atom
./script/build

Setting execute permission:

sudo chmod + x / tmp / atom-build / Atom / atom

It is easier to use, run the following command:

echo "alias atom = LD_LIBRARY_PATH = / opt / google / chrome ~ / atom / atom.sh" >> ~ / .bashrc
source ~ / .bashrc

Open the software, you only need to enter in a terminal atom.

Uninstall command:

rm -f ~ / atom
