KREdit MAC is a combination text editor application, similar to gedit and Leafpad. It has some interesting features, such as: skip function declarations, regular expression search and replace, save and restore the session options to support multiple bookmarks and highlighted source code, it is not an IDE.

Ubuntu users to install, has a PPA available for use. Open a terminal, enter the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: nilarimogard / webupd8
sudo apt-get update
