For those who use Intel graphics desktop or laptop to run Ubuntu Linux 13.10 users, there may be things you want to complete - install the Linux version of the Intel graphics installation program.

The Linux version of the Intel graphical installation program allows users to easily install the latest Intel graphics and video drivers. Until now, Ubuntu 13.10 is still not supported.

If you want to keep the current Intel card in your machine the latest driver, you may need this installer. It enhances, optimizes, and provides the best user experience for Intel graphics hardware.

Install the Intel Graphics Installer on Ubuntu

If you are sure that your computer has an Intel graphics card and you are running Ubuntu 13.10, continue to the following to learn how to install the package,

Some users have system problems after installing and configuring the driver package, so you should be cautious before installing and backing up your system. When you are done, execute the following command to download the 32-bit version of the package.

32-bit Ubuntu Linux

Cd / tmp & amp; & amp; wget https://download.01.org/gfx/ubuntu/13.10/main/pool/main/i/intel-linux-graphics-installer/intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0.3_i386 .deb
For those running 64-bit Ubuntu, run the following command to download the 64-bit version.

64-bit Ubuntu Linux

Cd / tmp & amp; & amp; wget https://download.01.org/gfx/ubuntu/13.10/main/pool/main/i/intel-linux-graphics-installer/intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0.3_amd64 .deb
After the download is complete, run the following command to install it.

Sudo apt-get-f install
Once the installer is installed, go to the Unity Dash Search installer. Open and continue. It will search for your device and determine the correct driver.

In order for your system to trust the Intel graphical installer, you must run the following command to add the key to the Ubuntu repositories.

Wget --no-check-certificate https://download.01.org/gfx/RPM-GPG-KEY-ilg -O - | sudo apt-key add -
It's that simple. If you follow the above steps, your machine should be able to correctly run the Intel driver. If not, it may be your graphics card is not compatible, or is not supported.
