Today, suddenly I thought of using Android phones to connect Ubuntu, which will use SSH. However, no default SSH Ubuntu 14.04 installation services, you need to install yourself under!

Start the installation SSH service terminal: sudo apt-get install openssh-server

After installation, start the SSH service terminal: sudo /etc/init.d/ssh start, to confirm whether under the successful launch of the terminal: ps -e | grep sshd, there sshd process, represents the SSH service started successfully!

The default port: 22, you can change the configuration file: / etc / ssh / sshd_config, change the configuration you need to restart the SSH service.

Then install it on your Android phone a SSH client, use ifconfig to view the machine outside the network ip, then use this ip can make Android phone to connect to the Ubuntu!
